Susan Chambers Endowment Student Awards

In 2005, we granted awards for the first time at the Pima Community College student art exhibit in the Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery on the West Campus. We picked Pima College because it still has art classes in craft mediums at the college level..  The students are of all ages.  We gave four monetary awards, plus honorary memberships for the remainder of the year.  We wanted to find work in four different mediums, if possible.  We looked for high quality work, and followed the goals set forth in ADC's jurying process.  We also looked for people who would be good members who would want to participate and contribute to ADC, thus furthering the organization.

This year was the sixth year we awarded students for their art works at Pima Community College.
