CHAIN WKSP IMG.JPGMary Ann Neisz is a multidiscipline artist specializing in award winning custom artist teddy bears and chain making. As a chain artist, she first learned chain making from Locadio Medina upon her relocation to Tucson eleven years ago. She perfected her skills under Cao’s tutelage as well as subsequent classes in Tucson’s world renown Park and Recreation silver and gold smithing programs.

Mary Ann has taught classes across the country in both teddy bear and chain making. In addition, over the last three year, she acted as assistant instructor to Patricia O’Malley during weekend City workshops at Tucson Parks and Recreation leisure class program. Prior to following her artistic path, Mary Ann worked in various financial management functions including comptroller for a software firm in Dallas, TX.

At this time, her work is for sale through various outlets or direct from the artist.

CHAIN WKSP 2 IMG_1.JPG"Chain Making: Old & New" will review some golden oldies and offer up some clever new chain patterns. All chain making at this location will be purely assembly without the use of a torch. the supply list will be emailed after your registration has been confirmed.
