Jorga-Wrkshp-Graphic.jpgThis one-day course will cover the fundamentals of digital photography, specifically targeting the artist. Learn the basics of camera operation and photographic design and techniques. Learn how to use photography to promote yourself and your work. Various tricks and techniques for photographing art and objects will be demonstrated: How to put together a promotional package for press releases. Creating a unified presentation. Having the right photograph of the artist ready for press and advertising. Photographing art simply, professionally and impressively.  

Jorga Riggenbach teaches a Digital Photography class and works as a freelance photographer, writer and graphic artist. With many years of experience in photography, computers and education, she enjoys teaching and combining the technical and artistic aspects of photography in a way that is easy-to-understand and useful to students.
The student will end the day with a better working knowledge photography, as well as a collection of useful photographs.

Materials: Bring a tripod, digital camera, camera manual, and two pieces of art. (Inquire first if the piece is large or very fragile.)
