Then he received an MFA in 2001 from Arizona State University. Tedd has taught at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI); University of Toledo (Toledo, Ohio); Bowling Green State University (Bowling Green, Ohio); Toledo Museum of Art School of Art & Design ( Toledo, Ohio); Pima Community College (Tucson, AZ) and currently is adjunct faculty at ASU where he teaches both jewelry and blacksmithing classes, as well as a class solely dedicated to laminated, patterned metals, a manifestation of the mokume-gane process deemed the most logical for his studio/working habits.
